The INNATURE Organic Baby Firm Cot Mattress

provides a robust and firm sleeping surface, ideal for babies who thrive on a firmer mattress. Uniquely designed without latex layers, this mattress features a substantial 75mm coconut husk core, offering exceptional support.

Composition

The mattress core is made of 75mm very firm coconut husk coir, with 500gsm pure NZ wool around the core, and a 100% cotton inner cover. All layers are hand stitched together (no glues are required), and finished with a zipped organic cotton/hemp outer-cover that is quilted with 250gsm of NZ wool wadding.

The Cot Mattress outer cover can be removed and exchanged for a new cover to create a fresh start for your next child.

We can also make oval shaped cot mattresses. Simply send us a template (you can use newspaper to create your template).

We recommend use of an Organic wool mattress protector or Dri-cot wool water resistant protector with your mattress.

If you use a Plastic Baby monitor, this can reflect moisture back into the mattress and cause a patch of mould to appear. To avoid this please place the monitor into a woollen cover or place it under the mattress with a woollen blanket between the monitor and mattress. You will need to air those items regularly.

As most of our items are handmade per order, please allow production time of approximately:

‘Zen’ and ‘Gypsy’ bed bases: 2-3 weeks
All other bed bases e.g. ‘Nova’, ‘Cubi Plus’, ‘New Classic’: 4-5 weeks
Adult Mattresses and Futons: 2-3 weeks
Baby Bassinet Mattresses: 1 week
Cot Mattresses: 1-2 weeks (contact us if urgent and we will aim to meet your timeline as best we can).
Child and Teenage Mattresses: 1-2 weeks
Latex Toppers: 1-2 Weeks
Furniture (including Futon Sofa Beds): 4-6 weeks
Small items (organic bedding and duvet inners etc) will be dispatched within 48hrs if in stock. Please call to confirm delivery times for products on backorder.

Firmer than our Medium Firm cot mattress as it does’t have Latex layers. With it’s 75mm Coconut husk core it is a very supportive mattress. Often chosen by customers who have a cultural preference for a really firm mattress. Combined with pure NZ eco-wool and quilted outer cover it is breathable and supportive for your baby.

An organic wool protector will also add surface cozy-ness to this mattress.
