At INNATURE, creating the right bed begins with listening to you.

Since 2007, we have been making organic latex mattresses, futons, bassinet and cot mattresses, natural pillows and solid timber bedroom furniture in our New Lynn factories.

We do not believe that one mattress suits everybody. Your body, sleeping position, comfort preferences, bed base and bedroom are unique—so our approach is personal from the very beginning.

It starts with a sleep consultation

When you visit or contact INNATURE, we take the time to understand how you sleep and what you need from your bed.

We may ask about your preferred sleeping position, body weight, areas of discomfort, current mattress, preferred firmness and whether you tend to feel hot at night. If you share your bed, we also consider the individual needs of both partners.

This personal sleep consultation helps us recommend the most suitable mattress construction, firmness, pillow height and, when needed, an additional topper.

Our aim is not simply to sell you a mattress. It is to help you create a complete sleep arrangement that feels supportive, comfortable and right for your body.

Designed to meet your needs

Once we understand your requirements, we help you choose the most suitable design.

Your order may be made in a standard size or customised to fit your exact space. We can make mattresses and futons to personal specifications, including unusual dimensions for existing bed frames, boats, motorhomes and other special spaces.

We also make custom-sized organic bassinet and cot mattresses, as well as solid timber beds and bedroom furniture designed around your practical needs and preferences.

Depending on the product, you may be able to select the size, firmness, combination of materials, fabric colour, timber and finish.

Handcrafted in our Auckland factory

After the details are confirmed, your order moves into production at our New Lynn factory.

Our team carefully measures and cuts the latex, wool, cotton fabrics and other natural materials to the required dimensions. Mattress covers are individually cut and sewn, and each mattress is assembled by hand.

We hand-stitch the internal layers to help keep them securely in place and prevent movement or displacement over time. This traditional process requires more care, but it helps us create a strong, stable mattress designed to provide many years of comfort.

Our solid timber beds and furniture are also made locally. The timber is cut, joined, sanded and finished with close attention to every detail.

Natural materials—no compromise

We keep the construction of our organic latex mattresses simple and pure.

We do not use polyurethane foam, solvent-based glues, added chemical flame retardants or formaldehyde-based adhesives in our mattress assembly. Instead, we work with carefully selected natural and organic materials, including organic natural latex, NZ wool and organic cotton fabrics.

There is no compromise here. The materials you sleep close to every night matter to us, just as they matter to you.

Made locally and sold directly to you

Because we make our products locally and sell directly to our customers, you receive genuine New Zealand craftsmanship without the additional costs associated with importers, distributors and large retail chains.

We do not make cheap, disposable products. We offer high-quality, handcrafted mattresses, bedding and furniture at competitive prices, with excellent long-term value.
