Hand-stitched for durability, this mattress also features a removable and washable cover made from 100% cotton canvas in various colors.

Composition

Firm. 10cm thick (4″).

Cover made of Organic cotton and hemp fabric. Filled with 4 layers of 500gsm natural carded NZ wool, alternating with 3 layers of 100% unbleached cotton wadding. The futon is hand stitched.

Care & Maintenance

Mattress Care: Requires airing and regular turning.
Cover Care: The additional cotton canvas cover is washable for easy maintenance.

Order processing and delivery times

As most of our items are handmade per order, please allow production time of approximately:

Cotton/Wool Pillows: 2-7 Days
‘Zen’ and ‘Gypsy’ bed bases: 2-3 weeks
All other bed bases e.g. ‘Nova’, ‘Cubi Plus’, ‘New Classic’: 4-5 weeks
Adult Mattresses and Futons: 2-3 weeks
Baby Bassinet Mattresses: 1 week
Cot Mattresses: 1-2 weeks (contact us if urgent and we will aim to meet your timeline as best we can).
Child and Teenage Mattresses: 1-2 weeks
Latex Toppers: 1-2 Weeks
Furniture (including Futon Sofa Beds): 4-6 weeks
Small items (organic bedding and duvet inners etc) will be dispatched within 48hrs if in stock. Please call to confirm delivery times for products on backorder.

If you are a bigger person, please consider 10cm or 15cm thick option with a Latex core – you will be more comfortable.

Can be folded in half for storage or transportation. Designed for NZ climate.

This Futon mattress also comes with an additional cover made from 100% cotton canvas. The cover has a zipper, can be removed, and is washable. It can come in the colour of your choice (see colour panel image). It makes sense if you use it without bedding sometimes.

Prices for additional covers are:

Single & King Single – $125 – $145
Double & Queen – $150 – $195
In the selection, you can choose the option ‘with cover’ and later in the ‘Note’ window, lets us know the colour of your choice: Off-white, Fawn/Beige, Khaki, Stone, Denim, Green, Pink, Burgundy, Navy Blue, Chocolate or Black.

Most popular are Off-white/Natural, Fawn (Beige), Khaki and Stone as these colours are very neutral.

If you buy this mattress to sleep on it then probably makes more sense to buy an INNATURE Organic Mattress protector than cotton canvas cover.
