For families who spend time comforting or reading to their child on the bed, the teenager mattress, a thicker 150mm version, is recommended.

Composition

Organic 100% natural latex core, medium density (100mm) surrounded with layers of 500g NZ eco-wool, and a 100% cotton inner cover. All layers are hand stitched together, and finished with a zipped organic cotton hemp fabric cover that is quilted with 500gsm NZ eco-wool wadding.
Recommended to be used with the Organic Wool Mattress Protector/underlay and a Brolly Sheet in times of toilet training. The quilted cover of the mattress is not designed to be removed or washed.

Ordering & Delivery

Order processing and delivery times

As most of our items are handmade per order, please allow production time of approximately:

  • Cotton/Wool Pillows: 2-7 Days
  • ‘Zen’ and ‘Gypsy’ bed bases: 2-3 weeks
  • All other bed bases e.g. ‘Nova’, ‘Cubi Plus’, ‘New Classic’: 4-5 weeks
  • Adult Mattresses and Futons: 2-3 weeks
  • Baby Bassinet Mattresses: 1 week
  • Cot Mattresses: 1-2 weeks (contact us if urgent and we will aim to meet your timeline as best we can).
  • Child and Teenage Mattresses: 1-2 weeks
  • Latex Toppers: 1-2 Weeks
  • Furniture (including Futon Sofa Beds): 4-6 weeks
  • Small items (organic bedding and duvet inners etc) will be dispatched within 48hrs if in stock. Please call to confirm delivery times for products on backorder.

Its supportive firmness and durability provide excellent spinal alignment and comfort for your child’s changing body.

This thickness is designed for a person under 60kg to sleep on it 15-20 years. If parents plan to lay with a child awhile reading story or to comfort the child, we recommend to go for 150mm thick option – we call it teenager mattress.
