Softer than our Medium Firm cot mattress as it has 100% Organic Latex core (no layer of coconut fibre in the centre), it is still a very supportive mattress. Securely within safety requirements, it is often chosen by parents who also prefer a softer mattress for themselves. The organic materials used are free of chemicals, so you can rest easy knowing your child is sleeping safely.

Composition: The mattress core is made of 90mm natural latex of medium density, 250gsm pure NZ wool around the core, with a 100% cotton inner cover. All layers are hand stitched together (no glues are required), and finished with a zipped organic cotton hemp fabric cover that is quilted with 250gsm NZ wool wadding.

This Cot Mattress cover can be removed and exchanged for a new outer cover to create a fresh start for the next child.

Sizes: Thickness approx. 100mm 690mm x 1290 -1300mm, 600mm x 1200mm or custom sized to your requirements.
You can specify the custom size to us in the “Note” window while you are checking out using our shopping cart, or you can just email us. We can also make all cot mattresses in oval shape. We need you to send us a template (for example out of newspaper or plastic bag).

Recommended to be used with Organic wool mattress protector or Dri-cot wool water resistant protector.

If you use a Baby monitor, please, know that it is a piece of plastic which doesn’t breath and will reflect the moisture back into the mattress. It can be a reason for mouldy patch to appear. To avoid it please make a woollen cover for the monitor pad or put it under woollen blanket and under the mattress You will need to air regular those items.
