A super firm and durable option. Should be used on a base with solid slats.

15cm thick. Really Firm – it’s the firmest mattress we make.

The rubberised with 100% Natural Latex Coconut husk core (75mm) in the middle of the futon creates a really firm feel. There is not much ‘give’ in this mattress at all…

It is solid mattress, which can’t be folded.

Recommended to be used with an Organic wool mattress protector.

It needs to be aired and turned regularly.

Futon mattress with prime cover made of organic cotton and hemp fabric. Filled with 4 layers of 500gsm natural carded NZ wool, alternating with 2 layers of 100% unbleached cotton wadding and Coconut husk core of 75mm. The futon is hand stitched.

Futon mattresses should be used on solid slat bed frames and bases or on a flat surface. We do not recommend using a futon mattress on a flexible slat bed frame as it needs good support for quality performance. If you are looking for a mattress for a flexible slat base, we recommend our INNATURE Organic Latex Mattresses.

This Futon mattress also comes with an additional cover made from 100% cotton canvas. The cover has a zipper, can be removed, and is washable. It can come in the colour of your choice (see colour panel image). It makes sense, if you use it without bedding sometimes.

In the selection, you can choose the option ‘with cover’ and later in the ‘Note’ window, lets us know the colour of your choice: Off-white, Fawn/Beige, Khaki, Stone, Denim, Green, Pink, Burgundy, Navy Blue, Chocolate or Black.

Most popular are Off-white/Natural, Fawn (Beige), Khaki and Stone as these colours are very neutral.

If you buy this mattress to sleep on, then it probably makes more sense to buy a Organic Mattress protector. You can add it additionally to the order.
