Organic Coconut Core & Wool Baby Bassinet Mattress. Firm

Firm grade mattress. Thickness is 50mm. Composition: the core is made of 30mm Natural Organic rubberized Coconut husk fibre coir, surrounded by a layer of 500gsm pure NZ wool. It is finished with a cover made from unbleached, blended organic cotton/ hemp fabric, and quilted with 250gsm NZ eco wool wadding. This mattress offers excellent firmish, and durable support, which is chemical free and safe for your little one. Added to this the material breathability allows great temperature regulating properties while they sleep.

Our Organic Coco Wool Bassinet mattress is an ideal option for any bassinet that has a solid wooden board base or slat base or a woven base.

400mm x 800mm, 400mm x 760mm, 380mm x 800mm or any custom size and shape.

! Any custom made baby mattress which measures more than 40 x 80cm will be quoted after we received a template or measurements. Price will range for Latex or Coco core mattress from $170 to $245.

We can also make all bassinet mattresses in oval shape. We need you to send us a template (for example out of newspaper or plastic bag). 

Recommended to be used with a ‘Dri cot’ wool water resistant protector and with an Organic cotton sheet set ($60).

If you use a Baby monitor, please understand that it is a piece of plastic which doesn’t breathe and will reflect moisture back into the mattress. It can be the reason for a mouldy patch to appear. To avoid this, please use a woollen cover for the monitor pad or put it under the mattress with a woollen blanket in between. You will need to air those items regularly.
